Starbucks Christmas Tree Frappuccino is here for the holidays

Starbucks Christmas Tree Frappuccino is here for the holidays

Starbucks loves us so much it's released a new holiday-themed drink that looks like it tastes like heaven. Not only is it quite literally shaped and created to look like a Christmas tree, but it has a mix of flavors so curious and unprecedented in Starbucks drink lore that it's only natural that many people are wondering what the Starbucks Christmas Tree Frappuccino tastes like before taking the plunge. The Christmas Tree Frappuccino officially hit the menu today but hurry up and try it because it won't be around for long. Over that goes a caramel drizzle and candied cranberries, and the whole thing is capped with a strawberry tree "topper".

The drink name is a shock to the system of all of those people who think Starbucks is waging a war on Christmas.

It starts with a Peppermint Mocha Crème Frappuccino base and is topped with green matcha whipped cream, piled high to look like a tree.

The super-sweet Unicorn Frapp met with mixed reviews from customers in April; many you believed the drink was a sugary mess. Eater predicts that the taste will mirror that of a Japanese green tea Kit-Kat, which either sounds intriguing or horrifying to you. So head on down to Starbucks and drive your local barista nuts.

The Christmas Tree Frappuccino will be available at Starbucks from Thursday through Monday. Just make sure to charge your phone. All you can do at that point is drink it and what's the point of that?
