Check out the new live action trailer for PlayerUnknown's Battleground

Check out the new live action trailer for PlayerUnknown's Battleground

The short clip does a good work at showing what the battle royale game is all about: random people jumping from a plane, landing on an unknown territory and then fighting each other for survival.

Upon realizing that The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley and his co-presenters didn't announce the award for Best Multiplayer last night, Polygon followed up with Keighley this morning. Since the game made its debut, it has had only one map to play, so this new map will be a huge addition for players. That number will only go up once the game comes to consoles via the Xbox One Preview program December 12. The game will include revamped sound, new weapons, UI tweaks, revamped gunplay and vehicles that drive more realistically.

Bihary notes that the added support that Microsoft has provided has enabled the PUBG team to really "focus on what's important" in making the game as much fun as possible to play on Xbox One. In this way, windows and barriers will no longer block players.

Although Miramar holds plenty of secrets for players to discover, we've learned so far that Los Leones will be the largest city on the map, filled with lootable buildings, and that Pecado will be host to a large-scale casino.

That said, the PUBG PC version has finally gotten a date for its highly-anticipated 1.0 update. The beta version proved that this revamped game is more than that, being way better than the first version of PUBG.
