The Roseanne Reboot Has an Official Premiere Date!

ABC officially announced in May that Roseanne would return to ABC.

The long-running sitcom will make its highly anticipated return to ABC with nine all-new episodes, beginning with an hour-long premiere on March 27, 2018 at 8 pm ET. It will settle into its Tuesday time slot (8-8:30 p.m.), where it will serve as the lead-in for "The Middle", starting April 3.

The cast and crew of the Roseanne TV show revival at their first season 10 table read for ABC (ABC / Adam Rose).

The revival will "explore life, death and everything in between", according to the news release announcing its premiere date. (Michael Fishman), Jackie (Laurie Metcalf), David (Johnny Galecki), Beverly Harris (Estelle Parsons), and Nancy (Sandra Bernhard) are all returning to the show as well. Sarah Chalke, who took over for Goranson to play Becky in later seasons, will also appear in a different role. In it we see the Conner's worn and beloved living room, with the promise of "New Episodes, Same Couch, Same Cast, Same Laugh".

Production on the "Roseanne" return is slated to end today, December 15, in Studio City, Calif.

Barr will executive produce, along with Sara Gilbert, Tom Werner, Bruce Helford, Whitney Cummings, and Tony Hernandez.
