Real Housewives star Luann de Lesseps arrested

Real Housewives star Luann de Lesseps arrested

Luann de Lesseps released a statement Sunday evening after she was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida, for battery, intoxication and resisting arrest the same day.

In a statement emailed by her spokesman Pete Sanders, de Lesseps offered her honest apologies to anyone she might have offended with her behavior. "I am committed to transformative and hopeful 2018". She's due in court on January 25, 2018.

Kornfield reported the following about de Lesseps' arrest on Twitter.

The circumstances of de Lesseps' arrest late Saturday in Palm Beach were not immediately available.

According to the Palm Beach Post, de Lesseps, 52, was taken into police custody around 1:25 a.m. Sunday morning.

During her court appearance overnight, Judge Ted Booras reportedly suggested de Lesseps hire herself a lawyer rather than ignore the charges, adding: "I don't think it would be that hard to find you".

We all know that just last year on New Year's Eve, Luann married who she thought was the man of her dreams only to divorce him months later.

De Lesseps rose to fame in 2008 on the Bravo show, which recently wrapped up its ninth season.

She was released without bond and is permitted to return to NY. Born in CT, she earned the title of "Countess" when she Wednesday French Count Alexandre de Lesseps in 1993.

De Lesseps split from her husband Tom D'Agostino Jr in August after tying the knot in Palm Beach back in December 2016. "We were both unhappy".

De Lessep's will likely return home to New York City, and has not yet spoken publicly about the incident.
