Maria Menounos Just Got Married on Live TV

The former longtime anchor for E!

The TV host Wednesday her longtime boyfriend in a surprise ceremony live during Fox's New Year's Eve broadcast last night, tying the knot on TV despite record cold temperatures in Times Square - and everyone couldn't have been happier!

Harvey - who was hosting New Year's Eve coverage on Fox along with Menounos - officially became ordained, "as of about 48 hours ago courtesy of the Internet, " he joked moments before officiating the brief ceremony. It was a happy day for dad and mom, Constantine and Litsa Menounos, the latter of whom is fighting stage-4 brain cancer.

Frigid New York temperatures plummeted to -11 degrees Celsius on New Year's Eve, but Menounos braved the icy weather in a gorgeous Pronovias strapless gown with a lace detachable coat.

Viewers were in for the surprise of their lives when, less than 20 minutes before the ball drop, Menounos and Undergaro said their I-dos, with Harvey officiating. "This was just so flawless", she said.

Menounos laughed and texted Undergaro, not knowing Undergaro was planning a surprise wedding on Howard Stern's radio show.

The couple had planned to hold a wedding brunch today to celebrate. After a successful surgery, she is now in remission.

"I really truly believe that it's taken us this long [to get married] because of the pressures of putting a wedding together", Menounos told People. "This was just so flawless".
