World's Most Expensive Vodka Stolen

World's Most Expensive Vodka Stolen

The bottle, made of gold and silver and having a diamond encrusted cap, was on display at a bar in Copenhagen, capital of Denmark. Now the $1.3 million bottle has been found abandoned at a construction site in Copenhagen, and it looks like somebody drank all the contents.

Bar owner Brian Ingberg said the bottle was still valued at the same hefty price even if it may have been slightly damaged.

In a headline-making incident, the "world's most expensive" vodka bottle, approx. worth Dollars 1.3M was stolen, and recovered two later, in empty state.

CCTV released on Wednesday showed an intruder, who grabbed the Russo-Baltique vodka and fled the bar.

"I don't know what happened with the vodka, but the bottle was empty", a spokesperson for the Copenhagen police said.

Copenhagen police tweeted that the bottle was intact when it was found and is now being examined.

"Unfortunately, it's empty. It is one of those working on the construction site that has found it", he told Danish tabloid newspaper Ekstra Bladet. The bottle wasn't broken, so the owner said he plans to just refill it. It has a diamond-encrusted cap fashioned to resemble a vintage vehicle front.

The bottle, which made an appearance in the political TV drama "House of Cards", was on loan from a Russian businessman.
