Missing reporter found unharmed, taken to Houston hospital for evaluation

Courtney Faye Roland, a sports reporter from Houston, Texas, has been reported missing by concerned family and friends after last texting her roommate that she feared she was being followed by a suspicious blue truck that tailed her to her home.

She was seen walking under the freeway overpass at 610 West Loop at Richmond around 8:15 Monday morning.

Family and friends reported Roland missing at the weekend.

Responding officers found no obvious injuries but arranged for her to be taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Police say the woman's phone was found inside her Jeep, which was parked outside a shopping center.

They discovered her cellphone and different assets inside, cops stated, while her satchel was found at a close-by business.

If you have any information, the Houston Police Department's missing persons' bureau can be reached on 832-394-1816.

Police said that they do not suspect any foul play, and have no reason to believe any crimes were committed.

Vara should meet soon thereafter with Roland, however she didn't appear. Her phone and other items were inside the vehicle.

Shortly before announcing she had been found, Houston Police updated the previous timeline to report that Roland had been seen alone in a mall on Sunday.

Family members told KHOU-TV that Roland texted her roommate Saturday to say a suspicious man was following her in a blue truck. A Razorback recruiter wrote on Twitter, "Courtney Roland of Rivals last seen late evening Jan 6th in the Heights. She cared for other people", said dad Steve Roland told the media according to CBS News.

This reaction might have been the cause of Courtney Roland's disappearance on Saturday, police said at a press conference attended by KHOU.
