Our Cartoon President Trailer Spoofs Trump's TV Addiction, Fox & Friends, & More

Still, Colbert continued, Trump is "president of the United States".

Stephen Colbert and Chris Licht, who's an executive producer on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, are bringing us a series all about the current happenings in the White House. But he's also going to take shots at those in his administration, including White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

The series is an outgrowth of an occasional feature on Late Show.

Is Colbert anxious that the country is suffering from Trump fatigue? "That would be like oxygen fatigue". Titled Our Cartoon President, the show follows Trump through his daily habits of Twitter, Fox News, and McDonalds, as the Orange-faced illustration stumbles through advisory meetings and snoozes through encounters with his adequately-idiotic Large Adult Sons in all their poorly-drawn cartoon glory.

"Our Cartoon President" officially debuts February 11 on Showtime.

They may not always make it on the cartoon, but Colbert was up-to-the-minute in his comic references.

"I think Michael Wolff must have stolen all 10 of our episodes to write 'Fire and Fury, ' because there is nothing in that book that isn't in our show, and we just guessed", Colbert cracked, referring to the controversial tell-all. He said the series will try to capture "just how stable his genius is", a reference to a January 6 tweet by the president about his mental state.

"The great thing about the Trump administration is, everything you imagine?"

"I love my country more than I love a good joke", he says.
