Watch The Trailer For Rose McGowan's New Docuseries About Life After #MeToo

Watch The Trailer For Rose McGowan's New Docuseries About Life After #MeToo

Actress and activist Rose McGowan is getting her own documentary series Citizen Rose, which will air on hayu and E on Wednesday 31st January.

"I've been damaged", she told The New Yorker for her October interview.

Cape Town - In the span of ten days, artist/activist Rose McGowan was arrested, met with former President Barack Obama, and became one of TIME Magazine's "People of the Year", all while navigating the minefield of those trying to silence her.

Argento said on Twitter that she supports the "Time's Up" movement to stop sexual harassment in the workplace, but was not invited to the Golden Globes.

Despite her commitment to the cause, the Italian actress revealed on Twitter that she wasn't invited to the Golden Globes and was not asked about joining the Time's Up movement when it was first created. "I want to have a conversation with everyone, and most especially, you about looking at things differently and seeing beauty everywhere".

Rosanna Arquette, who accused Weinstein of sexual misconduct, tweeted to a follower, "No we weren't invited". "I support @TIMESUPNOW even though I was excluded from it. Guess I am not POWERFUL or HOLLYWOOD enough". "I have no time for Hollywood fakery".

Sorvino - who accused Weinstein of not only harassing her, but of blacklisting her from the industry for rejecting his advances - thanked Patricia and Sciorra for their activism, writing, "Love you dear heart @PattyArquette, and all my sisters in this fight! Proud to work behind the scenes", the actress wrote.

Despite all of the aforementioned people not attending the 2018 Golden Globes, they still followed along with the happenings of the event online and shared their thoughts. You'll accept a fake award breathlessly & affect no real change. Another, known as Coleen, said: "Meryl Streep accessorising with an activist is so pathetic".

Not long after the shade, Meryl responded by saying she was "hurt to be attacked by" Rose and promised that she knew nothing about Harvey's predatory ways. "And I knew it was a lot of us". That's where the cover-ups convene.
