Creed Scribe Aaron Covington Will Pen Black Panther

Creed Scribe Aaron Covington Will Pen Black Panther

According to a Fandango survey, "Black Panther" is second only to "Avengers: Infinity War" as the most-anticipated movie of 2018, with Boseman as the most-anticipated comic-book hero in a standalone film.

Another thing you can see is that it is going to be absolutely spectacular with neon lights bokeh in the background and Black Panther and his foes engaged in action.

The next issue of Black Panther: Long Live the King will be available January 10 via ComiXology.

The trailer received prime-time billing during the half-time of the College Football Playoff National Championship game. But last night everyone was T'Challa and he, and all Black Panther fans, won the night. We see Shuri as the fun-loving genius she is, as she pilots their futuristic, pseudo-catmobile and calls her superhero brother a "show off". As well as an extended look at Michael B. Jordan's Killmonger and his collaboration with Andy Serkis' Klaw. In fact, All The Stars is Lamar's first single from the soundtrack of the film.

John Kani will also make an appearance as T'Chaka in the film. "All the Stars" is the first song from "Black Panther: The Album" which Kendrick Lamar is both curating and producing.

Hear a snippet of Kendrick's latest in the trailer below.

"Black Panther" viewing parties are already being scheduled around the country for its February release, smack-dab in the middle of Black History Month. With a lineup that includes almost every black person in Hollywood, and many in music too, we're not sure black comic nerds could ask for a better gift this February.
