YouTube puts Logan Paul projects on hold after…

In the following days, Paul apologized twice for the video's content, saying he "intended to raise awareness for suicide and suicide prevention" and he was "ashamed" of himself. But in this case - YouTube, as of now, hasn't taken any necessary measures again Logan Paul - and surprisingly the channel still exists on the platform.

Paul's channels were removed from YouTube's Google Preferred programme, where brands sell ads on the top five per cent of the platform's content creators, the BBC reported.

"We expect more of the creators who build their community on @YouTube, as we're sure you do too", they continued.

"You're right to be", the company said.

Paul announced following the controversy that he was taking some time away from his practice of posting daily vlogs, and his last video on YouTube was his apology post to viewers, which was published a week ago.

"The scandal will scorch him with advertisers who opted out of his video library on YouTube and sponsorships faster than he could fly home from Tokyo, ' Schiffer said".

The company, which relies heavily on artificial intelligence and users to identify material that violates YouTube guidelines, has recently pledged to hire an additional 10,000 staff members to help combat the spread of inappropriate videos.

Anyone affected by issues raised in this article can contact Pieta House on 1800-247-247 or the Samaritans on 116-123.

YouTube has cut business ties with Logan Paul following widespread criticism of the YouTuber's infamous "Suicide Forest" video, according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter.

Fellow YouTuber Anna Akana, who has openly discussed her younger sister's suicide on her channel, expressed her disdain for the video, saying: "That body was a person someone loved".

Today, more than a week after the incident, YouTube posted a response on Twitter.

In a series of Twitter posts on Tuesday, a spokesperson for YouTube apologised for the video. Shortly after the vlog was removed, Logan apologized for the video, insisting he never meant to offend viewers.
