Dolores O'Riordan cause of death: tests awaited by inquest

THE inquest into the death of The Cranberries frontwoman Dolores O'Riordan has been delayed until April as a coroner awaits the results of medical tests.

"The London Ambulance Service was contacted and verified her death at the scene".

Coroner's officer Stephen Earl said: "A post-mortem examination has now taken place and the court is awaiting the results of various tests that have been commissioned".

Olé Koretsky, the boyfriend of Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan, has spoken about her death for the first time.

Dolores O'Riordan was found dead Monday in London.

"My friend, partner, and the love of my life is gone", he wrote. It's such a powerful song and the themes are still so relevant, we wanted to release it in her memory.

'We are all deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Dolores and by the fact that she's leaving behind three children so we are donating the proceeds from the song to her kids'.

The official Cranberries website cited "medical reasons associated with a back problem" that prevented O'Riordan from performing.

In 2014, O'Riordan was accused of assaulting three police officers and a flight attendant during a flight from NY to Ireland. "Feeling good! I did my first bit of gigging in months at the weekend, performed a few songs at the Billboard annual staff holiday party in NY with the house band", she wrote to fans.

She auditioned to be The Cranberries" lead singer in 1990, and went on to achieve global success with the band, with singles "Linger" and "Zombie' being certified silver and gold in the United Kingdom respectively. I am lost. I miss her so much.

Dan Waite, who was involved in the collaboration between her and Bad Wolves, said: 'She was looking forward to seeing me in the studio and recording vocals.
