Piers Morgan to interview Donald Trump at Davos

Trump sat down with Morgan for his first global interview since taking office during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the Guardian reported.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, who has previously defended his friendship with the 45th President of the United States, will speak to Trump today (Thursday 25th January).

It's now unknown what will be discussed in the interview, but those wanting a preview should watch Good Morning Britain tomorrow, Friday January 26.

Morgan has in the past praised Trump.

The TV presenter interviewed Trump in May 2016 for Good Morning Britain during the U.S. election campaign and has previously said that he has interviewed the president more than 30 times over the years through his various on-screen roles.

The interview will air on ITV on Sunday evening. However, he also criticised the USA president previous year when Trump retweeted videos from Jayda Fransen, the deputy leader of far-right group Britain First.

The Good Morning Britain host and Mail Online editor-at-large is said to be "ecstatic" with the get, according to the Mirror.

It's both a popular ski resort and the location for the World Economic Forum, which Trump is attending during January 25 and 26. I have interviewed him more than 30 times and I have spoken to him on the phone every three or four weeks for years.

Piers also tweeted a picture of himself with Donald Trump, revealing that the full chat will air on ITV on Sunday at 10pm.
