Rob Gronkowski declares himself 'ready to roll' in Instagram post

It remains unclear whether his status for next weekend's Super Bowl meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles is affected.

PATRIOTS tight end Rob Gronkowski has declared himself "ready to roll" for Super Bowl LII despite remaining in the NFL's concussion protocol.

Come Sunday, however, all signs point to Gronkowski playing, and that's good news for the Patriots.

Gronkowski, who tallied 69 catches for 1,084 yards and eight touchdowns in the regular season, will play an important role as the Eagles have had issues dealing with tight ends. Tom Brady was also on the field, gripping a football without a glove on his right hand. "Time", which premiered Thursday on Facebook Watch, garnering more than seven million views. Wise, a rookie drafted in the fourth round out of Arkansas, has played all 18 games during his debut campaign and also looks set to be available for the Super Bowl.

After first joking that he didn't mind talking about distractions ("Let's talk about them, " he said), Brady got serious and declined to discuss the five-part series that goes behind the scenes of the quarterback's home life and workout regimen.
