Tom Hardy Actually Got a Leonardo DiCaprio Tattoo After Losing a Bet

DiCaprio earned his first Oscar for the film, but he also won the bet when Hardy received a Best Supporting Actor nomination, as well.

Of course, we all know now that Hardy was nominated and DiCaprio, 43, was quick to sketchup a design.

Tom Hardy and Leonardo DiCaprio answered this question for us when the pair made a bet back in 2016 over whether or not Hardy would receive an Oscar nomination for his role in The Revenant, in which he starred opposite DiCaprio.

The Revenant star finally gave in after losing a bet to his co-star more than two years ago, when he promised to get ink that read "LEO KNOWS ALL". If Hardy was nominated, he would have to get a tattoo with Leo's name.

Andrew Calisterio shared a selfie with Hardy on Instagram, writing: "A couple Pictures for @tomhardy today".

Hardy preciously revealed to Esquire the reason for the delay.

Later that year, Hardy confessed he hadn't got it done yet because Leo's "handwriting was so bad".

"He wrote, in this really shitty handwriting: 'Leo knows everything.'" Hardy told Esquire UK at the time.

"I was like, "OK, I'll get it done, but you have to write it properly", he told the mag.

Let's just hope Hardy doesn't regret his tattoo like this woman did when she got a face tattoo from Phor. The wager? If DiCaprio was right, he would get a tattoo of Hardy's choice, and vice-versa. I guess that involved changing some of the words so that the tattoo looked a little cooler.
