Ravens-Bears to meet in Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 2

It's the first time the Ravens will play in the Hall of Fame Game in the franchise's 22-year history.

The Bears and Mitch Trubisky will get the 2018 National Football League season started when they play in the Hall of Fame game on August 2 in Canton, Ohio. While we do now get to watch more Bears football, which is great, the Hall Of Fame Game is a great opportunity for young players to shine bright on the national stage, and to make a name for themselves.

The Hall of Fame Game will be played on Thursday, Aug. 2 in Canton, Ohio.

The Bears last appeared in the game back in 2005, when they beat the Miami Dolphins 27-24.

Hall of Fame Game: Ravens vs.

The game is important for the current Bears. Lewis will share the honor with Bears' legend Brian Urlacher.

The early exhibition game means the Bears potentially could report to training camp July 18 and begin practicing July 19. A season later, he guided the team to a NFC title and Super Bowl appearance. He was selected All-Pro five times, voted to eight Pro Bowls and named to the NFL All-Decade Team of the 2000s. Plenty of fans from both cities will make the trip to OH for the game, and for the enshrinement ceremony.

More than 130 Gold Jackets (living Hall of Famers) return to the Hall of Fame each year to be a part of the Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls. Packages range from event-day offerings to four-day experiences that include exclusive extras.
