Jennifer Lawrence says Amy Schumer's 'sudden' wedding was 'beautiful': 'I was sobbing'

Jennifer Lawrence says Amy Schumer's 'sudden' wedding was 'beautiful': 'I was sobbing'

For those who questioned the hasty nuptials, Schumer posted a response on her Instagram which stated that she was not pregnant and instead of wedding gifts, she urged friends to send donations to gun safety organization, Everytown.

Jennifer also had an accidental style tweak when the buttons of the dress came undone. She told ABC News that at the time of writing the script, "I was falling in love... and I was having trouble feeling like I deserved that love", she told the news outlet.

Then, all of a sudden, the comedian's Instagram was flooded with wedding photos! "It looks like I was like, 'Oh, you thought this was going to be about you?'" "I was sobbing the whole-his vows were stunning".

Jennifer told ET: 'It's when two people really love each other and they really mean it, it shows, and it was a lovely ceremony and an incredible time. Like, not overprotective, but if someone's taking pictures of me or filming in a restaurant, he'll start taking pictures of them.

"A couple people wanted to go down and walk on the beach and I was like, 'No". I never got the beach. Schumer let the elegant dress speak for itself opting to wear no jewelry with her hair curled up. She must have really loved it, because she pulled it out again for BFF Amy Schumer's surprise wedding this week.

Another shot shared by the bride showed Jennifer planting a kiss on her cheek.

According to Jennifer, she and Amy are still working on their movie together, but it's simply taking a while.

Amy looks undeniably elegant in a white gown by Monique Lhuillier with spaghetti straps, while Chris is very dapper in a dark blue suit accessorised with a cream floral corsage.

Amy has been romantically linked to Chris since November but she only confirmed her romance with him earlier this month.
