Student Apprehended After Threat Against Camden High

Police say the student said, "If you do not change my grade, I will shoot up the school".

According to a statement, the 15-year-old mentioned shooting a particular student "and Mexicans".

"Students are scared and parents want to know that when they drop their kids off at school they're safe". "As the mayor, I am committed to taking whatever steps are necessary to protect our students and district staff when attending Mahwah Township schools".

At 1:20 a.m. Sunday, Kentucky State Police were notified of a threat made against Clay County Middle School on social media.

Earlier this month, Arlington PD released a video showing examples of social media posts they've used to bust potential terrorists. A person found guilty could get up to 12 months in jail and/or a $2,500 fine.

The case remains under investigation, and authorities do not believe any threat remains.

Cattaraugus County: After two threats at the Chatauqua Lake School and Randolph Academy Union Free School District, Gov. Andrew Cuomo ordered state police to increase patrols around schools to protect against copycat shooting threats.

Her post prompted more than 100 responses from parents and community residents, with many saying they would keep their children out of school. These include remarks made by one student to another and on social media. "We encourage all parents to talk with their children regarding the proper utilization of social media as well monitoring their children's social media usage for accountability purposes".

A student at Uplift Summit International Preparatory School was also arrested the same day for making a threat against that North Arlington charter school.

High school officials contacted the Woodstock Police Department's school resource officer, who worked with detectives to locate and interview the student and his guardian. "We are working with the school to verify the credibility of this threat".

"We will be linking those with the Sheriff's Office and the 911 Center", said Blankenship. A screenshot sent from a 13News Now viewer indicated the targeted school was Southampton High School.

After admitting to making the statement, the student was arrested.

No charges have been filed against that student. The student was given a mental health evaluation on Thursday, according to the sheriff's office.

Flower Mound police said officers arrested a 16-year-old at Marcus High School Friday after officers found a small-caliber handgun in his backpack.
