PTI MPAs sold their votes during Senate polls: Imran

PTI MPAs sold their votes during Senate polls: Imran

While commenting on the crippling water crisis, Khan claimed that PTI-if forms government-would solve the issue of tanker mafia once and for all.

Imran Khan did not appear in the Parliament to vote in the Senate elections but came to a hotel to console his party leaders following the Senate elections.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief-in a surprise announcement-has revealed that he would contest general elections 2018 from Karachi too.

Sources citing the finding of an initial investigation ordered by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak into alleged horse trading in the provincial assembly said that at least 17 PTI lawmakers allegedly sold their votes and favored Candidates backed by others than their own party during the Senate Election. "Your party activists, who are committed to your party's ideology, can win election for you", he said while addressing a press briefing regarding Senate elections in Karachi. While speaking to a similar gathering at the Perfume Chowk in Gulistan-e-Johar, the PTI chairman said that Karachi was the city from where all political campaigns used to start but then it fell prey to hatred and violence. He said no one took the responsibility of Karachi while God Father of Karachi himself moved to London. Similarly, at the Chandni Chowk in Saeedabad, he explained the thought behind the PTI's slogan of "Naya (New) Pakistan" and said that it meant a change for good.

He said PTI's position had grown weaker in Karachi, because Karachiites knew that the PTI government had done no significant development work in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
