Nintendo Switch Activity Logs Reset After A Year

Nintendo Switch Activity Logs Reset After A Year

In addition to the above games, a wide variety of other first- and third-party games launched for Nintendo Switch in its first year.

June 2017 - To kick off the summer, Nintendo released ARMS, a unique fighting game starring an eclectic roster of characters overflowing with personality. Launch-day games like Breath of the Wild are affected. Through the official website of Nintendo Japan, we've found out that the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild OST has been officially announced, spanning 5 CDs for a total of 211 tracks.

According to the Wall Street Journal reports that instead of revamping the Switch's hardware the company will instead work on upgrading the hybrid console's online features and adding more peripherals in order to increase sales numbers specifically, peripherals that will use the console's USB-C port. The strategic adventure-RPG combined the wacky world of the Rabbids with the iconic Super Mario franchise, resulting in an epic quest for all ages.

To close out 2017, Nintendo launched a sequel to the original Xenoblade Chronicles RPG series, Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It did not, however, indicate what may be causing the games to reset, leaving players to speculate.

We already know that the Switch takes a week before updating the user profile with the number of hours you've played a game for.

"Some Nintendo Switch owners' play activity information is displaying incorrectly", the company's statement reads.

Nintendo has stated on Twitter that there will be an update coming soon to correct this glitch. Nintendo has acknowledged that some Switch owners' play times have begun "displaying incorrectly" on the console's first anniversary but thus far has only said it will have more details to share about the issue "in the near future".

Looking into the console's second year, fans can expect even more titles to arrive.
