Battlefield V Is This Year's Battlefield Game

Battlefield V Is This Year's Battlefield Game

Trevor Noah along with DICE team members such as Oskar Gabrielson, the head of DICE Stockholm, Andreas Morell, senior producer, Lars Gustavsson, creative director, and Daniel Berlin, design director, will fill you in on the next Battlefield installment.

Last week, EA and DICE hid the reveal date for Battlefield 2018 inside a cleverly crafted Battlefield 1 Easter Egg. To find out more make sure to check out the live reveal stream on May 23 at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET / 9 PM BST (2 PM AET). Set to air at 1 p.m. PDT, viewers can tune in through the official Battlefield YouTube channel, Twitch, Mixer.com and the official website. EA today confirmed Battlefield V will be the next game in the series and assured gamers that "Battlefield will never be the same". The title "Battlefield V" was revealed by multiple sources, all claiming that the next game is set during the Second World War.

Other than this, not much else is known.

In a new post made to the game's official site, EA provides details on how fans can watch the event as it unfolds. It will be interesting to see what time period the game will take place in. In short, the company is doing well. The live reveal will give players the first look at DICE's immersive portrayal of the new setting. Each played a key role in the story and while the experience was short, it was still a nice change of pace from the traditional single player campaign.

It is quite possible that Wilson is teasing a battle royale mode for the game with the term "next level of large-scale multiplayer" and each battle being "unique". VG247 reported earlier that EA is making some progress in this area, and it's now in the prototype stage.
