National Basketball Association title odds hint at LeBron’s next team

National Basketball Association title odds hint at LeBron’s next team

"To be able to be a part of a championship team two years ago with the team that we had and in the fashion that we had is something I will always remember", James said. "(Kevin Durant) went there, they teamed up, and it's like, 'OK, beat this.' I think it's on another organization to kind of give that same narrative".

Love said that if it's up to him, he'd like to remain in Cleveland, though he knows the trade rumors are about to ramp up yet again.

James, who has the ability to utilise a player option in his contract and become a free agent, is believed to be ready to move on from Cleveland.

It was as though the love affair with James only paused four years. James being from Akron and spurning the Cavaliers is why those 16 words spoken in 2010 - "This fall I'm going to take my talents to South Beach and join the Miami Heat" - stung like a serpent's bite.

LeBron James's second go-around with the Cleveland Cavaliers may very well be over.

However, when comparison LeBron and Jordan, what makes them conversation different?

The Boston Celtics are 7-1 and the Los Angeles Lakers, another suitor, are the 14-1 fifth choice.

"I have no idea at this point", James said in his post-game press conference. In presumed MVP James Harden; Chris Paul, one of James' closest friends; and bent-on-overthrowing-the-Warriors general manager Daryl Morey, the Rockets have the building blocks to assemble an uber-team. James was willing to disregard the incidents with Gilbert for his hometown.

"Legally, he may be working for our organisation, but that's not really the case, " Gilbert said.

The comment was a concession of sorts from Gilbert, who understands what James means to his franchise and what he represents to Northeast Ohio - hope.

Game 4, however, was not a shining moment for James, He played down to the level of his teammates.

The last time James left Cleveland it was because he needed a team to help him achieve greatness. Durant, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have had their way with the rest of the league over the past two seasons, leading many National Basketball Association fans and analysts to blame the 29-year-old for "ruining" the National Basketball Association.

There's a tug-of-war going on between James' brain and heart.

Kerr said the only thing that ever matters to Curry is winning titles.

"I get asked all the time about MJ, LeBron, and it's such a hard question to ask", Kerr told reporters following Game 4.
