De Gea wants Spain's PM to offer public apology

De Gea wants Spain's PM to offer public apology

Manchester United superstar David de Gea has refused to rule out a potential exit this summer, with Real Madrid reportedly keen to secure his services next season.

Many recognise the former Atletico man as the world's best goalkeeper and so there's no surprise that Madrid are reported to be interested in signing him once more.

'You have to be focused on having a good World Cup - we are all good. At the time Sanchez said he did not "feel comfortable with De Gea as the national team's goalkeeper". Our qualifying campaign was nearly flawless and our idea is to carry that through in the finals, with a little luck and the team we've got, hopefully we can go far. Asked whether or not De Gea had told his representatives to keep transfer matters away from him during the build up to the World Cup, he said: "Football is football and a thousand things can happen". But I'm always calm. "The issue is that what he said back in the day was in public and that is why I think the apology should also be a public one", De Gea was quoted as saying by Diario AS. People have criticized me knowing that it wasn't right and nor have they come out to recognize they were in the wrong, or rectify what they said.

"What he said at the time was in public, and that is why I think the apology should be made in public too".

People stick with the good memories, they remember the good football, but they don't know how hard it is to win a game at the European Championships or at a World Cup; it doesn't matter who you play - it's always hard because football is becoming more evenly balanced. It personally didn't affect me much but obviously I have people close to me that are affected by this more than me.

'We are very excited, there is a good team, a good group.

David de Gea spoke out about his taste in music in the Old Trafford dressing room and added that he may get banned for the music he plays for the other players. "I just want to be 100 percent focused on the World Cup".
