Beyond Good and Evil 2 Trailer Confirms Jade is Back

Beyond Good and Evil 2 Trailer Confirms Jade is Back

Beyond Good and Evil 2 was confirmed at E3 2017, promising a large-scale galactic experience with space travel and combat. In the climactic moment of the trailer, we see the return of Jade, the main character from the first game.

Ubisoft labeled the in-game footage as pre-alpha, but it looks pretty damn good to be considered so early still.

During the conference, Ubisoft also revealed the developing game features art crowdfunded with help from Inception actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt and his organization called HitRECord.

It'll start with radio songs and smaller art pieces in the background, but HitRecord says the scope of what they create for the game could expand from there. Essentially, anyone can create content for Beyond Good & Evil 2, whether that be music, images or recordings.

Ubisoft is inviting Beyond Good & Evil fans to contribute artwork and music to be included in the game. The best stuff will appear in Beyond Good and Evil 2, giving the game a "real world" connection. After the predictable Just Dance routine announcing the next game in the series, the publisher went straight to one of their heavy hitters.

All of a sudden, Joseph Gordon-Levitt takes to the stage to talk more about the action RPG.

For more on the future of the long-awaited Beyond Good & Evil 2, be sure to follow OnlySP on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

The release date and platforms for Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be shared at a later date. It got things rolling with the new cinematic trailer you see below, which features numerous characters from the original title, along with the new ones who were introduced with last year's trailer.
