Meghan Bonds with Royals at Buckingham Palace

The former Suits star has a penchant for bateau designs as she has donned the flattering open neckline on numerous occasions from various designers, including Dior for the Royal Air Force 100 service, Ralph Lauren at Prince Louis' christening, Prada during the Queen's Young Leaders Reception and of course Givenchy on her wedding day. Her Majesty, the RAF's Air Commodore-in-Chief, presented the Queen's Colour to the RAF in the forecourt of the palace.

"Tenacity, skill and gallantry have been your hallmarks as you have helped to safeguard freedom and security in many parts of the world", she said.

Nearly 100 aircraft took part in the celebratory procession, including three new F35 Lightning stealth fighters, several military helicopters, and planes from the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) including Spitfires and a Lancaster bomber.

Over 1,000 RAF servicemen and women performed a ceremonial parade on The Mall in central London, along with nearly 300 personnel lining the route, including people from a variety of roles and RAF stations, representing the full diversity of the current Air Force.

Meanwhile, social media pages for the Royal family shared an array of vintage photographs celebrating the family contributing to the RAF throughout its 100 years. RAF service personnel, veterans, and their families were joined by members of the Royal Family.

Earlier the royals attended a service at Westminster Abbey along with dignitaries including Theresa May, Jeremy Corbyn and the defence secretary, Gavin Williamson.

Senior members of the Royal family then moved to the balcony at Buckinham Palace to view a flypast of the largest concentration of military aircraft in the skies of London.

The RAF, described as the world's first independent air force, was founded on April 1, 1918 as an armed force independent of the British Army and the Royal Navy.

They included Spitfires, Lancasters, Chinook helicopters, and the new F-35 fighter (its first public viewing).

A display by the Red Arrows brought the airshow to a close, streaming red, white and blue smoke down the length of The Mall.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth arrives at Westminster Abbey for a service to mark the centenary of the Royal Air Force (RAF), in central London, Britain July 10, 2018.
