Nokia X5 Smartphone with Dual Cameras & 19:9 Display Launched in China

Nokia X5 Smartphone with Dual Cameras & 19:9 Display Launched in China

The all-new Android One handset was initially unveiled in Russian Federation back in May this year.

It was reported a few weeks ago that Nokia X6, the company's first smartphone with a notched display, would be released in other markets soon. The company says that the smartphone will be available across major mobile retailers in three colors: Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome and White/Iron. Actual units will be available for purchase through offline stores or Nokia's official and Paytm online stores from July 21.

Meet the Nokia X5, which features a 5.86-inch 1520×720 display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch. The display comes covered with an unspecified version of Corning Gorilla Glass for protection against nicks and scratches.

In terms of camera, budget Nokia handset features a 13MP f/2.0 rear camera. Besides, the Nokia 3.1 Android One smartphone also rocks an 8MP f/2.0 selfie shooter that comes clubbed with an 84.6-degree wide-angle lens.

The X5 comes in two models such as 32 GB storage + 3 GB RAM and 64 GB storage + 4 GB RAM. The Finnish company has affirmed that it will be rolling out month security updates for X5 and it will be also blessed with Android 9.0 P in future.

HMD Global has also tied up with leading carriers Vodafone and Idea to provide launch offers to its consumers. Storage on the smartphone is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). Additionally, the buyers will get two movie cashback vouchers worth Rs 250 that can be redeemed on ticket booking via Paytm. Buyers using credit and debit cards from ICICI Bank will get 5 per cent cashback. Just a day after it launched the low-range Nokia X5, HMD Global is now launching the Nokia 6.1 Plus which is, for all intents and purposes, the Nokia X6 with two differences: it runs Android One and it will launch outside of China. Nokia 3.1 Android One users will get unlimited calls, 1GB data/day and 100 SMS/day for 28 days on a recharge of Rs 149 on both the networks.
