Fortnite celebrates birthday with cake, challenges, Playground mode

Fortnite celebrates birthday with cake, challenges, Playground mode

Throw in the theme of world colliding and it appears that Epic's battle royale sensation has earned an average of $2 million a day for the first 10 days of Fortnite season 5 on iOS according to a report from Sensor Tower.

Even if you're not much for birthdays, there's still cause for celebration, as Epic Games has also confirmed that the popular Playground mode is coming back.

We've got a birthday party planned for #Fortnite1st and you're invited!

With each Birthday Challenge that you complete you'll unlock a slice of the birthday cosmetic set that you can don on when hitting up the world of Fortnite.

Fortnite developer Epic Games has posted a new Playground LTM release update.

While Remote Explosives will be on the sidelines for the moment, Fortnite fans still have a slew of fresh weaponry with which to get acquainted, as Epic Games has expanded the in-game armory by adding the new Compact SMG. And the only other changes that the devs mention is that this time around there will be more loot than before.

Are you excited for the major buff that the Slurp Juice item in Fortnite is getting in the v5.10 content update for Epic Games' battle royale title?

Playground was available for a short time earlier this summer, and as of July 25, it's going to be available for players to experience again. The first two are pretty standard: Play 14 matches to complete the first challenge, then deal 1,000 damage to opponents to complete the second. Offering further improvements will likely inspire even more people to use it-especially if they want to prove they're the best Fortnite players among their friends.

MOBILE IMPROVEMENTS - We've added the ability to background the app while downloading updates, new quick building buttons, and new customizable control options.

In fact, fun is the name of the game with Fortnite Playground Mode V2, and the changes reflect that.
