Brooklyn Family Attacked With Acetone And Brooms By Nail Salon Workers

When Lin called police, the salon workers tried to keep the customers inside the salon. "Hitting them like animals", the person added.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams released a statement on Monday, saying, "This morning, a constituent sent me video of Friday's incident at Flatbush's New Red Apple Nails salon".

The crazed worker then starts beating the customer with a broomstick as she tries to calm the situation. She brings it down onto the black woman's back, repeatedly, as the woman flees from the salon. According News12, Hiuyue Zheng is facing charges of assault, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon. Both she and the salon's owners agree that she wasn't happy with how the eyebrow wax turned out.

One outraged woman, Jasmine Johnson, shared footage of herself taking part in a protest outside the salon, which reportedly forced it to close for the day. The young lady paid for her feet/nails but refused to pay for her eyebrows because she was unsatisfied. Christina Moses, 21, was also arrested on charges of assault causing physical injury, menacing and harassment.

"You couldn't pay me to come back here", said resident Crystal Harper.

Maduka's video had been viewed by more than 670,000 people as of 1 a.m. Monday.

This is the shocking moment nail salon workers brawled with customers - hitting them with broomsticks, fists and dustpans - after one of them refused to pay for a "f***** up" eyebrow job, witnesses said. Thomas refused medical treatment, according to police.

"I'm not trying to die on my bday or go to jail", she wrote.

Police said Thomas hit an employee, who then in turn struck the customer with a broom.

"There is no respect for people in this neighborhood", Gavin Gibbs, a 49-year-old East Flatbush resident, said to the New York Daily News. The protesters were holding signs that read "Black $$$ Matters" and were chanting "black dollars matter", the news station reports. "If we go into an establishment to get something done, and then we end up being assaulted, something certainly needs to happen to that establishment".
