Trump doesn’t talk about James during OH rally

Trump doesn’t talk about James during OH rally

I support LJ. He's doing an incredible job for his community. "He's doing an wonderful job for his community", the Chicago Bulls legend said.

Trump took to the social media site to have a go at both National Basketball Association superstar LeBron James and CNN host Don Lemon, who appeared together in an interview that aired on Monday - in which James argued Trump is "dividing" us.

She also said she is open to visiting the school for underprivileged children James recently opened in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, which he said in an interview that aired last week prioritizes a holistic experience for students.

First Lady Melania Trump has nothing but nice things to say about LeBron James despite her husband President Donald Trump' recent insult of him.

"Just as she always has, the First Lady encourages everyone to have an open dialogue about issues facing children today", she said.

The president's endorsement of basketball star Michael Jordan was perhaps a reference to the long-standing debate over whether Jordan or James is the better all-time player.

"The network's communications team responded to Trump's tweet, suggesting that if Trump was watching CNN, it must have been because first lady Melania Trump was choosing the channel", the Hill reported. "Who's the real dummy?", the CNN anchor tweeted Saturday.

Despite his previous tweets, Trump declared his preference for "Mike" - Michael Jordan - on Friday.

The statement didn't criticize the president. She is someone who is married to Donald Trump. Laker fans who spoke with Eyewitness News also felt the same way, often mentioning the school James opened and how he's impacted those kids' lives. “He made Lebron look smart, which isnt easy to do.”.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver, who was at the league's NBA Africa Game on Saturday in Johannesburg, South Africa, commended James for his work on and off the court.

"We're in a position right now in America, more importantly, where this race thing has taken over because I believe our president is kinda trying to divide us", he said.

In the interview, James said he "would never sit across" from Mr Trump, though he would talk to former president Barack Obama.

Responding to the same, Trump even questioned James' intellectual capacity. Once in OH, however, Trump stayed away from the controversy and never mentioned James as he hammered away at Democrats and other favorite targets.

Meanwhile, Jordan and first lady Melania Trump have also weighed in on the public conversation, and she's not here for her husband's pettiness.
